Meet Dr. Jenn

I’m Dr. Jenn Carson.

By the age of nine, I was the suicidal child of convicted serial killer Michael “Bear” Carson. I survived because caring adults refused to give up on me: teachers, a school counselor, and the public library that became my refuge.
Today I hold a Doctorate of Social Work, and I help organizations turn that truth into strategy: resilience can be built, hope can be taught, and one caring person can change the entire trajectory of a life.

Hope isn’t soft.

Hope is the strategy.

Hope is not a mood or a motivational poster. It is a discipline, a set of skills any person, team, or organization can practice. When hope is activated, it changes what people believe is possible, and then it changes what they do.
